First studying composition and then musical direction, I have long been guided by a love of the bringing together of words and music. In teaching, writing, and performance, it is my joy to pursue that passion for the art of song in collaboration with students, other performers, and audiences, in all manner of forums: from the Royal Academy of Music to ArtsEd, London, from the Regent’s Park Music Festival to Við Djúpið Music Festival, Iceland, from St Giles’ Cathedral, Edinburgh, to St James’s Church, Piccadilly.
